Erin Chalfant, PsyD(c), Registered Psychological Associate

Erin Chalfant is completing her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara and works under the supervision of Anne Babin, PsyD. She is a Registered Psychological Associate (PSB94029337) in California, specializing in supporting young adults, couples women, and mothers navigating anxiety, depression, loss, and major life transitions.

Erin’s approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person. She blends psychodynamic, relational, and transpersonal therapy with creative, somatic, and mindfulness-based methods, including art, dreamwork, EMDR, breathwork, and parts work. Additionally, Erin has experience with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and integration work for plant medicines.

Guided by cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and systemic awareness, Erin helps clients explore relationships, parenting, and gender-fluid experiences, supporting them to navigate life’s stresses with compassion and presence.

Beyond her clinical work, Erin has studied and facilitated healing traditions and plant medicine in Colombia, Barcelona, and Vancouver. She is also a mother of two and the author of The Other Side of the River (Womancraft Publishing, 2016), reflecting her lifelong dedication to listening deeply and understanding the patterns that shape our personal and collective stories.
